大津の交通事故は，幼い子供が2人亡くなり，重体，重傷を含むけが人も多く出る惨事となりました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

もちろん一番責任があるのは右折をして事故を起こした，逮捕取調中の容疑者であることは間違いないでしょう．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

しかし，この交差点の作り自体に問題はなかったのか，とふと思いました．自分で運転をしていても，右折しにくい交差点にしばしば遭遇します．なんでこんな作りにしてあるのか，なんでこんなタイミングの信号にしてあるのか等々．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

危険を感じるドライバーが多数いれば，必ず事故はあるでしょう（ハインリッヒの法則<\/a>）．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

交差点の管理は警察がやってますから，仮に交差点に問題があったとしても，発表をするわけないことは，皆知ってます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

今こそ，正義の味方のマスコミ・ジャーナリストの皆さんの出番です．この交差点の検証を徹底的に行って欲しいのとともに，同じような悲劇を減らすために，全国の危険交差点についてもこの際洗い出して報道して欲しいと思います．<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
