新プロバイダーP社の開通直後から，暫定的にAirMac （日本以外ではAirPort）を使用して，PPPoE接続していました．このやり方では，IPv4 onlyとなります．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P社につないで，IPv4とIPv6両方活かすためには，日本のローカル仕様であるMAP-Eという方法によらないといけないそうで，一番安価な方法は，P社から無料で借りられるルーターを使う事と解り，申し込みました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ルーターも届き，またいろいろ考えていたことを本日試しました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

無料レンタルルーターは，MAP-Eとして，家庭内LANのIPv4とIPv6のサービスに使用し，AirMacはPPPoEでIPv4接続して本サーバーを公開するというのはできました（家庭内LANと本サーバーの直接の接続はなし）．ONUと，無料レンタルルーターとAirMacのそれぞれのWAN側は1GbpsのSwitching HUBでつないで問題なしです1<\/a><\/sup>他にもいくつか，うまくいきそうにない方法を試しましたが，やっぱりうまくいきませんでした^^;<\/span>．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

しかし，この方法は不採用としました．というのは，無料レンタルルーター経由でインターネット接続した場合，IPv4もIPv6もどちらも死ぬほど遅いのです．AirMacでPPPoEのIPv4の方がはるかに速いです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

原因は無料ルーターにあるのか，MAP-Eのゲートウェーにあるのか，他に原因があるのか解りません．しかし，スピードが全然出ない上に，WAN側が複雑になるのでは話にならないので，当面は，AirMacを使ったIPv4 onlyで行きます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ここ5年ほど自宅LANは，IPv6環境だったので残念です．
