最近，「キャッシュレス」で検索すると，アホ<\/del>著名ブロガーから，一流企業のサイトの記事まで，トンデモ記事がたくさんヒットするので暇つぶしに利用しています．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

アホブロガーでなくて，大手の会社のサイトでは，たいてい，そもそもキャッシュレスとはからはじまる体系的な説明を掲載しているところが多いです．そこによく出てくるのが，「プリペイド（やデビット）は，使いすぎる心配がないから安心です」って記述です．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

デビットまで含むと，根本的に間違っています．口座残高をちょうど使い切った状態を「使いすぎない」と言えるのか．また，定期預金があれば，普通預金口座はマイナスになっても使えますので，それでも使いすぎないって言い張るのか．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

あんまりバカすぎるので，ここではデビットの件は考えないことにします．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

プリペイドに関しても，オートチャージ機能をオンにしていれば，これも「使いすぎる心配はない」は根本的に誤りになりますから，この機能もオフが前提とします．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

しかし，毎回毎回現金でチャージするプリペイドって便利でしょうか．また，現金をATMから引き出して，その現金をチャージする機械に入れる事を考えると，はたしてキャッシュレスって言えるんでしょうか．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

こういう突っ込みどころとは別に，筆者が個人的に感じるプリペイドカードの陰の部分は，その残額は死に金であるということです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

プリペイドカードを使う人は，たいてい複数枚のプリペイドカードを持っていると思います．筆者もなんだかんだで3枚持っています．取り扱い店で現金と同様に使えるポイントカードも含めれば，その倍を越えます．これら全部の残高を合計すると，2万円を越えます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

このうち，1〜2枚の日常的に使うプリペイドカード・ポイントカードを除けば年に数回使うのが良いところです．これらに入っている残額は，ほとんど流動しない，死に金です．かといって，年に数回の使うときに死に金分（残額）がなければ，プリペイドカードの用をなさないです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

そして，もし私が死んだら，相続権のある家族の誰もが使えない本当の死に金になる可能性が大です．<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
