rsync使用中のトラブル<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

当サイトはRaspberry Pi 3 Model B+上で運用されています．前のマシン，Raspberry Pi 3 Model Bは，2017年9月から稼働してまして，通算して1年半ほど大きなトラブルもなく，運用してきました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ところが，本日，いつものように，rsyncによるバックアップを実行したところ，バックアップスクリプトが途中で止まってしまったばかりでなく，システムが無応答になってしまいました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

前日までとの大きな違いは，rpi-updateによって，これまでの4.14.x系列のkernelが，4.19.x系列（4.19.23）に変更されたところです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

再起動してログをざっと見てみたら，ハングアップする直前に，SLAB関係のメッセージが出ているようです^^;1<\/a><\/sup>詳しくは解らん^^;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

slabtopコマンドを実行して監視しながらバックアップスクリプトを実行すると，ext4_inode_cacheのCACHE SIZEが増え続け2<\/a><\/sup>Kernel 4.14.xで実行したときとの比較では，異常<\/strong>に増えるといえます．<\/span>，最後にコンソールが無応答になります．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

とりあえず，4.14.x系列（4.14.98）に戻し，同じバックアップスクリプトを実行してみましたが，問題なしです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ということで，当分4.14.xのままで行きます3<\/a><\/sup>今後，Raspberry Pi用の4.14.x Kernelのupdateはないので，なるべく早く，4.19.xでの問題が解決して欲しいです．<\/span>．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.19.25でもNG<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2019\/02\/26現在最新のRaspberry Pi 用Kernel 4.19.25で確認したところ，やはり，rsyncによるバックアップ中に，ハングアップします．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.19.36で試したところ，今のところ大丈夫です．<\/a>しばらく様子を見ます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
