これまで，VMWare Fusionのupgradeは迷わずしてきましたが，今回は迷いました．Core i5のMac miniで，VMWare Fusionの上でWindowsを動かすのはかなりきついということは，かねてから感じていました．<\/p>\n
どうしても，アマチュア無線をやるのにWindowsが必要なのです^^; これまで仮想マシンのWindows 8.1 (64bit)でやってきましたが，いちおう実体のあるマシン（以下「実機」）も一台持っていて，Windows 10 (32bit)がインストールしてあります．<\/p>\n
MacOSをHigh Sierraにしてから，VMWare Fusion 8.xでは，ネット関係が不具合になることが頻発してきました．ということで，ここらでupgradeするか，アマチュア無線環境を実機に切り替えるかを決断する必要が出てきました．<\/p>\n
実機でWindowsを動かすのは，<\/p>\n
というメリットがある反面，<\/p>\n
などのデメリットがあります．で，今回は特にUSB機器のつなぎ直しのめんどくささ（COM番号が当然変わってくる），ソフトのupdateと設定し直しのめんどくささに負けて，もう一回VMWare Fusionをupgrade(8.xから10.x)することにしました．<\/p>\n
