前回の正式リリースから2年半もの空白があり，もうSlackwareは終わってしまったのかと心配していましたが，去る7月1日付けでSlackware 14.2が，リリースされました．<\/p>\n
まあ，”Current”で遊んでいたので，それほど新し味はないんですが，正式版をリリースしてくれたと言うことを喜んでいます．寄付の意味でDVD\/CDを買おうと思っています．<\/p>\n
さて，当サイトは，Slackware 14.0をベースに，Slackbuildスクリプトを使ったり，手動で新しいパッケージをインストールしてきました．X.orgなどはかなり手荒なupgradeをしてきました^^; しかし，あちこち要らない残渣だらけになっていますので，ここらでクリーンインストールをするつもりです．<\/p>\n
これまで32bit版で粘ってきましたが，今回は64bit版にします．そのためにも必然的にクリーンインストールとなります．<\/p>\n
