MacでVMWare Fusionを動かして，そこではWindows 8.1を動かしています．無線関係のソフトを動かすことが主な目的です．<\/p>\n

とはいえ，それだけじゃつまらないので，ほかのソフトもインストールして使っています．その一つEvernoteが，ここ数か月というもの，自動updateに毎回失敗します．<\/p>\n

今日は，そいつを何とか解決しようと，ネットで調べながらいろいろやってみました．とりあえずはアンインストールしないと話になりません．アンインストールしようとすると，Evernoteのmsiがないと文句を言ってそれから先に進めません．<\/p>\n

検索で見つけた情報を元に，最初は，Microsoft Fix itを試しました．ずいぶん長い間，ディスクに大量の書き込み1<\/a><\/sup>数十GB^^;<\/span>をしてくれて，SSDの寿命を縮めてくれました．それでも最終的にはアンインストールできたとメッセージが出て喜びました．しかし，Evernoteの最新版をインストールしようとすると，ほかのユーザーがEvernoteをインストール済みなので，インストールできない旨の表示が出ます．結局だめです．<\/p>\n

いったんコントロールパネルで「復元」して，今度はRevo Uninstaller Proというのを試しました2<\/a><\/sup>このRevo Uninstaller Proを試す前にも，いろいろやってます．やっては復元してを繰り返しました^^;<\/span>．30日間無料で使えるようです．<\/p>\n

これは，いろいろ検索の過程で見つけた，プログラムファイルとレジストリーを手動で消す，というのを少しわかりやすくしてくれるもので，関連するファイルとレジストリーを表示してくれて，最終的にはユーザーが選んで消す，というものです．<\/p>\n

これで，消えてくれたと思います．こういうことがあるから，WindowsやRPMでパッケージ管理をするLinuxのdistros<\/a>はきらいです．<\/p>\n

Evernoteは，別にMacとWindows両方にインストールしておく必要はありませんから，もうWindows側にインストールするのはやめにします．データも，AppDataから探して消しました．<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
