今度は正解かもしれません．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

今日も5〜12秒のプチフリーズが頻発して使いようがないので，これまでの知見から次のような手順で試してみました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

まずTime Machine用のWestern Digital 3TB HDD（USB接続）をDock1<\/a><\/sup>CalDigitのThunderbolt 2 Dock<\/a>．<\/span>から外しました．しかし変化ない2<\/a><\/sup>プチフリーズの長さ・頻度．<\/span>のでDock自体をMac miniから外し，外したポートにUSB-C-HDMIケーブルを挿して拡張モニターにつなぎました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

すると，拡張モニターが点いたり消えたりします．接続が安定しません．このときのUSB-CポートはMac mini背面の向かって右端です．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ここで思い出したことがあります．本件とは直接関係ないのですが，Apple Configuratorの記事でMac miniの背面の中央のUSB-Cポートを使わないとうまくいかないことがあるとの記述がありました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

そこで，拡張モニターのUSB-Cコネクターを真ん中のUSB-Cポートにつなぎました．幸い，真ん中のポートにはGoogle Pixel 8aを接続するためのケーブルがつながっているだけでどうしてもここにつなぐ必要があるわけではありません3<\/a><\/sup>データの転送ができず，実質的に充電しかできませんから，ACアダプターでいいのです．<\/span>．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

モニターの表示は安定しました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

それではということで，この中央のポートにDockをつなぎ，これまでどおりDockに拡張モニターとTime Machine用3TB HDDをつないで，Time Machineも実行しました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

今のところプチフリーズは発生しません．これで解決と行きたいです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

しかし，背面の右端のポートが使えないとなるとそれはそれで困ったものです．<\/p>\n\n\n
