度々書いてますが，史上最強のIntel Mac mini1<\/a><\/sup>Mac mini 2020.<\/span>を持ってます．このIntelのCPUを積んだ最終版のMac miniは，これまでのモバイル用でなくデスクトップ用のCore iシリーズを搭載しています．しかも筆者所有のものはCTOでCore i7にしていますので，大げさでなくて正真正銘史上最強のIntel Mac miniです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

さて，前置きが長くなりましたが，そのIntel Mac miniはこれまでSnap Shotを削除するような必要に迫られたことはありません．念のため確認すると，Time Machineを動かしていますから，SSDの空きは全てSnap Shotに埋め尽くされています．M4 Mac miniのSSDが著しい速度低下を起こしているのと同条件です．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

その時の1TBのSSDの書き込み・読み込み速度を同じBlack Magic DesignのDisk Speed Testで測定するとこのようになります2<\/a><\/sup>Stress=5GB.<\/span>．<\/p>\n\n\n

M4 Mac miniの同条件<\/a>と比較すると十分使える速度だと思います．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

そしてSnap Shotを全部削除して，空きを240GBにしたときが，次の通りです．<\/p>\n\n\n

たしかに，書き込み速度は改善しますが顕著とまでは言えないですね．Snap ShotでSSDが満杯状態でも実用上支障がないと言えます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
