Appleのサポートに試してほしいと言われたmacOS 26.1 Tahoeへupgradeですが，しばらく使用していたところ，プチフリーズは生じなかったもののSSDの転送速度，特に書き込み速度の低下は出ました．下がり出すとセーフモードで起動しても，データが空でAppleアカウントとのひも付けのないテスト用アカウントでログインしてもSSDの速度低下は変わりません．<\/p>\n\n\n

まあ，本質的に差はありません．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tahoeですが， “ミュージック” のコントロールが下に移動したり，音楽の音量が大きすぎて，また，曲毎のバラつきが大きくて非常に使いづらいです．良かったらそのままTahoeでいこうかと思いましたが，Sequoia 15.7.2に戻しました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

以前もそうでしたが，OSインストール直後はSSDは速いです．最初にSequoiaをクリーンインストールした直後の速度は快調そのものです．<\/p>\n\n\n

これが本来のM4 Mac mini + SSDの性能ですね1<\/a><\/sup>M4 Mac mini Proだとこの2倍くらいの速度らしいです．<\/span>．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

このままでは不便なので，移行アシスタントでユーザーのデータやアプリ，その他をコピーバックしました2<\/a><\/sup>3日くらいロールバックしました．<\/span>．その後4時間くらい経った現在も速度低下はありません．<\/p>\n\n\n

現段階での結論としては，<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • クリーンインストール・移行アシスタントでデータやアプリを復帰させた直後はSSDは高速<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 何日か使用していると特に書き込み速度が低下する<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 低下した状態でセーフモードで起動しても，テスト用に仕立てたほとんど空っぽのアカウントでログインしてもSSDの速度は低下したまま<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sequoia 15.7.2でもTahoe 26.1でも同様の症状が起こる<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • ただし，5〜16秒間マウスやキーボードか反応しなくなるプチフリーズについては，Sequoiaのメインユーザーの通常モードでしか確認できていない．\n

    • プチフリーズは，これまでSequoiaのメインユーザーでのみ生じ，約1週間空けて3度生じている．1度生じると半日から数日続く．<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      はたして何かソフト的なトラブルが生じて症状としてSSDの速度低下が起こるのか，SSDそのもののトラブルなのか今のところ解りません．<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
