Raspberry Pi OS (RPiOS)の13.1 Trixieが正式リリースになりました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

早速，ATOM Cam 2のReal Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP)画像をVLCで見ているRaspberry Pi 3 Model B (RPi3)と同Model B+ (RPi3+)のupgradeをしました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

最初はRPi3+の\/etc\/apt\/sources.list<\/code>のbookworm<\/code>をtrixie<\/code>に書き換えて，<\/p>\n\n\n\n

apt update\napt full-upgrade<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
を施しました1<\/a><\/sup>筆者はSlackware流儀なのでシステムのメインテナンスはroot権限で実行するので，sudoは付けません．<\/span>が，エラーが出てうまくいきませんでした．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
そこで，クリーンインストールをすることにしました．Raspberry Pi Imagerが最新のTrixieをダウンロードしますのでそのままmicroSDカードに書き，RPi3+に差し込んで起動し設定をします．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
久しぶりにクリーンインストールをすると結構面倒ですが，\/etc\/ssh内にあるsshサーバーのキーと，メインユーザーのホームディレクトリーにある.sshを保存しておいてそのままTrixieをインストールしたmicroSDカードに書くことで，他のマシン2<\/a><\/sup>M4 mac mini等．<\/span>からのログイン，他のマシンへのログインはすんなりそのままできます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
問題は，VLCを起動する仕組みですが，RPi3+に関してはBookwormで使っていた設定<\/a>をそのままコピーして，<\/p>\n\n\n\n
systemctl --user enable run_vlc<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
として3<\/a><\/sup>これはユーザー権限です．<\/span>動くようになりました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RPi3の方も同じようにしましたが，なかなかVLCが起動してくれません．コンソールから<\/p>\n\n\n\n
systemctl --user restart run_vlc<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
とすると動くので，タイミングだけの問題と思われます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
実際これまではあまり感じていませんでしたが，RPi3の動作，特に起動時がRPi3+よりずっと遅いです．これはもう少し調整して，うまい具合にしたいと思います．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
目についたBookwormとTrixieの違いですが，dphys-swapfile<\/code>が廃止されて，rpi-swap<\/a><\/code>というのに変わりました．zramをキャッシュとして使い，\/var\/swap<\/code>に読み書きするようです4<\/a><\/sup>これは厳密には間違いで，基本はzramですが，一日に1度zramの内容を\/var\/swapにコピーして保存する，というのが正しいようです．<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
RPiではやはりSWAPがパフォーマンスのボトルネックになるので，開発者たちもこれまでのdphys-swapfileには限界を感じてzramと組み合わせた仕組みを導入したようです．<\/p>\n\n\n
