タイトルの通りなんですが，いつも思っていることです．高齢者が起こした重大な交通事故が報じられる度に，「高齢者から運転免許を奪え」という意見がSNSにあふれます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

田舎暮らしの経験のない若い人はそう思って当然かも知れません．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

しかし，田舎暮らしは過酷です．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

今日もNHKの夕方の関東向けローカルニュースで，栃木県で高齢女性が工事現場で交通整理をしていた警備員をはね，警備員は意識不明の重体だと報じられました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

事故現場の周りの様子を見れば，あんなところで自家用車なしで高齢者世帯が生活できる訳がないと感じます．わが家の環境も似たようなもんです．日々の買い物と医療機関通いだけでも大変です．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

じゃどうすればいいか．答えは簡単，自動ブレーキ付きの車（サポカー）の普及を強く推進すればいいのです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

栃木県の事故も自動ブレーキがあれば，防げた事故だと思います．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ニュースも，「高齢者が運転する自動ブレーキのない乗用車が歩行者を…」のように報じれば，人々の意識も高齢者から免許を剥奪せよから，（みんな）自動ブレーキの着いた車に乗るべしに変わっていくと思います．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

サポカーの普及は誰も損することがありません1<\/a><\/sup>1番得をするのは自動車メーカーだというのはちょっと不本意ですが．<\/span>．車の価格が高いというのは唯一のマイナスですが，それこそ人の命には替えられませんから公的助成があってもいいと思います，<\/p>\n\n\n\n
