今回のOpenCoreによるmacOS 15 Sequoiaのインストール<\/a>には，容量が20GB以上のUSBメモリースティックが必要です．それに適合するUSBメモリーの持ち合わせはないので，SDカードを差し込むUSBアダプターでやりました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

20GB以上となると最小のSDカードは32GBで，nano SDカードの32GBはちょうどRaspberry Piのブート用などで出払っていて適当なのがなく，探してみたら随分前に買ったWi-Fi機能付きのSDカードが出てきました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

これはSDカードに保存されているデータをWi-Fi経由でダウンロードできるという機能のあるSDカードですが，あんまり使い勝手が良くないのてとっくの昔に戦力外となっていました．ただ容量が32GBあるので，今回のように普通のSDカードとしての出番は時々ありました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

それで今回使用したのですが，データの書き込み途中でエラーになってしまうというトラブルを2回起こし，こりゃだめだなということで廃棄することにしました．次回の不燃ごみの日に出します．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ついでに随分前から使えないSSDも捨てます．Buffalo製です．macOSのサポートが終わったMac miniに入れてあって，いずれ一緒にPCリサイクルに出そうかと思っていたものです．Mac mini本体のほうは今回Sequoiaのインストールに成功<\/a>したのでしばらくは使用する予定です．<\/p>\n\n\n
