私のメインWS (Mac mini Late 2012)には，Crucialの960GBを入れましたが，今回，家族用のMac mini (Mid 2011)には，写真のように，Transcendの512GBを買ってみました．<\/p>\n

で，まあ，換装作業は，都合４回目なので，それほど大きなトラブルはありませんでした^^;<\/p>\n

手順的には，まず，HDDとSSDの物理的入れ替えが先で，そのあとで，元のHDDをUSBアダプターに乗せて起動し，SSDのフォーマット，コピーをします．Carbon Copy Clonerです．内容は260GBほどですが，残り100GBのところで，フリーズというか，トリップしました^^; 熱暴走でしょうか．<\/p>\n

再起動してコピーも再開して，無事起動しました．この世代のMac miniは，USBが2.0なので，このコピー作業は非常に時間がかかりました．<\/p>\n

コピー完了後に，FileVaultをONにしたり，GoogleDriveの内容のコピーをし直したり，Time Machineの初回バックアップをしたりで，元通りと思います．<\/p>\n

結果は，やはり，体感速度1桁アップといっても過言ではないですね．BIOSの出すログイン画面にパスワードを入れてから，デスクトップが表示されるまで16〜18秒，で，その時点で既に作業が始められます．<\/p>\n

自分のWSより１世代前なので，多少の遅さ感はありますが，それは比較の話で，このMac miniを使う上でもう文句はありません．<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
