もはや話はDOSBox(-X)から離れてBochs<\/a>になっていますが，DOSBoxからの流れということで，メインのタイトルは “DOSBoxメモ” のまま行きます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

表題の通りBochsにて，やっとHDDイメージからのブートができるようになりました．<\/p>\n\n\n

動いてみると，BochsはいわゆるDOS\/V機を忠実に再現しようと，ハードに対応した設定を細かくしていくので，昔からDOS\/V機をいじっている人間にはわかりやすいかもと思いました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ここで一旦寄り道をして，Bochsで仕立てたHDDイメージ “drivec.img” でDOSBox-Xがブートするかやってみます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DOSBox-Xが自前のDOSでbootしてから，<\/p>\n\n\n\n

で，あっさりブートしました．<\/p>\n\n\n

やはりこれまでDOSBox(-X)でいろいろやってきたHDDのイメージ作成がうまく行ってなかったということが明らかになりました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
