最近TV CMも盛んに流されて日本でも知名度が上がったホテル予約サイトのAgodaですが，最初に利用したのは2008年のシンガポール出張の時だったと思います1<\/a><\/sup>同じ年にクアラルンプール(KL)に出張していて，ひょっとするとKLの時だったかも知れません．あるいは全く別の年かもです😓<\/span>．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

用務先から近すぎず遠すぎずのちょうど良いロケーションの安いホテルをネットで調べて2<\/a><\/sup>当時の職場の規定では支給される宿泊料が地域による定額制だったため，安い所に泊まりたかったのです．しかし，このときの安ホテル（支給額の1\/3くらいの値段）はひどすぎて，以後はシンガポール出張で初めて泊まったホテルに何回か泊まり，「定宿」としたわけです．値段は安くはないけど高くはなく（支給額の6〜7割），建物は古いけど都心に近い好立地条件でした．<\/span>，聞いたこともない予約サイトにクレジットカード情報を登録して予約したわけですが，「あんまり裏も取らなかったけど大丈夫だろうか」と我に返ったのはホテルに着いて予約票をフロントマンに渡す直前でした😓 冷や汗をかく間もなく何の問題もなく受け付けてくれて，部屋のキー（カードキーだったと思います）を渡されました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

以後，数回利用したようなしないような😓<\/p>\n\n\n\n

今だったら，いくらTLS接続（https:\/\/のサイト）だとしても，もう少し裏を取るか，あるいは早めに利用しない決断をするかのどちらかだと思いますが，当時はチャレンジャーでした．<\/p>\n\n\n
