NHKや民放が多くの時間を割いて今回の英女王の国葬について報道してます．それらの番組を見ていると，イギリス国民はみんなmonarchist （辞書を引くと， “君主主義を擁護する人” と書いてありますが，ニュアンスが少し違う気もするので，本稿では敢えて “monarchist” と記します）なのかと思ってしまいます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
自分の心から自然に生じた王室・女王に対する親しみや尊敬を成長につれて醸成してきた本当に純粋な人もいるにはいると思いますが，多くはないでしょう．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
教育によって誘導されたり，強要されたりして国民が君主を崇拝するように仕向けられているとしたら，個人が尊重されない状況であり，国民にとって不幸です1<\/a><\/sup>君主ばかりでなく，強権的な指導者の場合も同じです．<\/span>．<\/p>\n\n\n\n しかし，現在のNHKその他の批判なしの王室関連報道からは，イギリス国民の多くがどういう状況にあるのか知ることができません．<\/p>\n\n\n\n そこは英語で検索して英語のニュースなど視聴すれば良いのですが，英語を読む・聞くのがますますめんどくさくなってきてしまいました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n ざっと調べて，それっぽい記事をひとつだけ斜め読みしてみました．思った以上に王室の人気が高い気がしますが，それがエリザベス2世の人柄によったのか，国民への教育によるのか，強制なのか，その辺りは知りようがありません．<\/p>\n\n\n\n 上記はアメリカのメディアなので，イギリスのも少し探してあとで読んでみます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
