そう言えば，open-vm-toolsはインストール済みになっていると思っていましたが，確認したら，build途中でエラーが出て，インストールできていませんでした．原因はKernelの設定に1か所もれがある1<\/a><\/sup>VMWareの仮想ネットワークディバイスに対応したドライバー．<\/span>とのことで，そこを修正してemergeし直し，インストールに成功しました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

しかし，どうも，gentooのopen-vm-toolsは，systemdに対応していないようです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debianを動かしてみると，<\/p>\n\n\n\n

systemctl status open-vm-tools<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
で，たしかに動いていることが確認できますが，Gentooでは，open-vm-toolsを正しくインストールしたあとで同じコマンドを実行しても，open-vm-tools.serviceはないとつれない回答が来るだけです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
本当にopen-vm-toolsが原因だとしたら，Debianで同パッケージをuninstallして試してみれば解りますので，やってみました2<\/a><\/sup>もちろん，uninstall前に，snapshotを撮っておいてあとで戻します．<\/span>．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ブートすらしなくなってしまいましたので，これは大事で，逆に解像度の問題と関連しているかどうかはさっぱり解りません．<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
