Wi-Fi中継器を導入して失敗<\/a>した，ワイヤレスネットワーク環境の改善ですが，ふと思い，Wi-Fiルーターを隣の部屋に仮に移設してみました．1本だけ，Category 5 UTP相当の線が繋がっています．<\/p>\n\n\n\nこの移設では，一番電波環境の悪い部屋へのルーターからの距離は1mも近づきません．しかし，壁が１枚減ります．１枚の壁は間に断熱材を挟んで2枚の石膏ボードで構成されています．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
違いは歴然でした．5GHzの電波が届かない部屋に，フルスケールとはいきませんが，中くらいの十分使える強さで届きます．<\/p>\n\n\n\n
