マスクは，花粉症の時期を含め，よく使用しています．特に秋口から春まで，外出するときはほとんど必ず使用しています．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

しかし，その効能については，いろいろ「専門家」が説明しますが，納得の得られるものはなかったです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

そもそもマスクを装着して，どうしたって隙間が出来て空気が（呼気も吸気も）漏れます．漏れないように手で隙間を押さえるとかなり息苦しくなります（苦しい程度はマスクに寄りますが）．ということは，普通に呼吸が出来るというのは必ず隙間が空いている訳です．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

隙間があったらもってのほかですが，隙間がなくても不織布で感染した飛沫や，ましてやウィルスを防げるのか．この疑問に対する明快な回答はなかなか得られずにいました．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

最近聞いた専門家の説明では，マスクをすると鼻の温度が下がりにくく，抵抗力が下がらない効果がある，というのです．<\/p>\n\n\n\n

これはなかなか納得がいきます．元々マスクは防寒具としての機能があることと，鼻の中の湿度が保たれるということは経験的に知っていました．多少の隙間があろうとも，鼻の温度や内部の湿度が保たれ，そのために鼻の粘膜の抵抗力が低下しないということのようです．<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
